Virtually every kind of business you can imagine - restaurants, bookstores, day spas, gourmet
coffee shops, sporting goods stores - are experiencing gift card success every day --
from single-store mom and pop shops to on-the-move franchise companies with 100+ locations.
Gift cards outsell paper gift certificates from two to ten times, every time.
Consumers buy them on impulse from displays near the checkout counter, and every
card has an extra value as a small but powerful billboard for your company whenever
your cardholders open their wallets.

U.S. Consumers use debit cards for financial transactions four times more frequently than they did nine years ago, according to "The U.S. Market for Debit Cards," a Packaged Facts report. The report found debit card use quadrupled from 1995 to 2000. Before 1995, fewer than two percent of consumers used any form of debit card.
